On Tuesday IPL owners looked over to sell the team of King’s XI Punjab if valuation is more than $250 million. Co-promoter Wadias spokesperson said that there is no reports to sale of stake by promoter.


Burman, Director of Dabur said – “The teams have now been auctioned for as much as $370 million. So why not if have a good offer that is substantially more than $250 million. But we have no offer… there is no buyer.

Wadia Group spokeswoman said- “The news of stake sale by the promoters of KXIP is not correct… IPL Team Kings XI Punjab continues to be co-owned by a consortium which includes industrialists Mohit & Gaurav Burman, Karan Paul, Ness Wadia and leading Indian actor Preity Zinta.”

After the high bidding of Pune’ and ‘Kochi’, promoters of KXIP were seeking to exit.
Burman said- “Not before the tournament is over… It may be possible this year.”

The Sahara group won the IPL T20 franchise Pune on 22nd March. Abhijit Sarkar chose Pune as it is close to Aamby Valley and because of other business reasons.


Second bid was for Kochi $333.33 million by group of passionate cricket investors. They are people from Kerala including other parts of India and abroad. The group includes people like Vivek Venugopal, builder from Kerala also includes Ravi and Sanjay Gaikwad Mumbai based business man, Mukesh Patel runs management and technology institute, Rosy Blue Diamond (world’s largest diamond manufacturing company), and company from Gujarat Anchor Switches owned by Mehul Shah.

Kerala association is in process to build cricket stadium in Kochi. Till the stadium is not ready alternative venues will be provided to the teams. Pune has a stadium under construction. Sources said to have IPL stadium in Kochi for some of the matches to include Kerala.

IPL 20th March – RR VS KKR

Shane Warne and his team Rajasthan royals have already lost three of the matches and it will not get easier for them even if they take on Kolkata Knight Riders on 20th march. Things for RR have become worse for now as key players of the tournament Dimitri Mascarenhas and Graeme smith are injured and after the defeat by RCB they have the lowest score report.
On the other hand KKR won the first two matches but defeated by Chennai super kings in their last recent match. After the last loss Kolkata knight rider is charged over again to play and win this time. Chris Gayle is available for KKR and his presence alone can make things in Kolkata’s favor.

IPL 20th march- Mumbai Indians Vs Royal Challengers
The game between Royal challengers and Mumbai Indians will be an exciting game. Mumbai have already won two on two matches. Harbhajan Singh along with Pollard and Bravo has strengthened the team. The batting section is also strong with Saurabh Tiwari.
RC lost their opening match but is back to the excitement of IPL with win over RR and kings IX. RC with his strong performer Jacques Kallis will give a fight to Mumbai Indians.

18th march IPL match between the two royals (Rajasthan Royals and Royal challenger Bangalore) created thunder by the team RCB. Royal challengers Bangalore did not even gave a chance to Rajasthan Royal to put a fight against them. Royal challengers Bangalore came like storm and make their way through.

IPL news and IPL results are positive for Kallis.
Jacques Kallis man of the match and Manish Pandey with his fabulous catches ended the match in hurry like they have some more important work than this match.

Jacques Kallis proved himself all over again and we cannot say that it is the last IPL for him. After the winning match Kallis said “As long as my body can keep going, I will continue to bat like this”. Yusuf Pathan got the the award for maximum sixes.
Moment of the game: Hat-trick by Maverick bowler with 3 different deliveries and 3wickets.

Kumble and others are happy after the match and their next encounter is Mumbai which feels good to go after 2 consecutive wins.
Warne said that they were lacking behind in all the departments and they have to sit behind and think to play well for the coming matches.
Important day for RCB as they achieved3rd 10 wickets win in IPL.
