IPL Award Ceremony held on 23rd April 2010 was placed in Grand Hyatt Mumbai. Sharukh Khan and Karan Johar hosted the award ceremony to honor the players who participated in T20 tournament 2010. This show will be telecasted on TV channel colors with all the brilliant performances. Many bollywood stars like Hritik roshan, Priyanka Chopra, A.R. Rahman, Katrina Kaif, and Shilpa Shetty also performed in the ceremony.

Judges panel included umpire Simon Taufel, commentator Harsha Bhogle, Javagal Srinath, Sunil Gavaskar, Lalit Modi, and Brian Lara. 22 award categories included best batsman, best bowler, best fielder, best commentator, best stadium, most stylish player and many more categories.

Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the best batsman award and other notable achievements were best bolwer awarded to Pragyan Ojha of Deccan Chargers, Best debut performance was awarded to Kieron Pollard of Mumbai Indians, most consistent player was Jacques Kallis of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Best fielder award was given to AB de Villiers of Delhi Daredevils, best dramatic performance award was won by Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble won the best breakthrough performance 2009 award, and the best stadium award was given to M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

IPL Award Ceremony was a sparkling night with cricketers and Bollywood stars coming together in one event sponsored by Sahara. Award Ceremony held up in grand Hayatt was a surprising night for many of the cricket player, who won their awards. Amazing performances by the Bollywood stars rocked the event. This was a glittering night for all the players and owners.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Deccan chargers are held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on 8th April 2010. Deccan Chargers are under pressure as they already lost the last match and they are having 6 points but Royal Challengers Bangalore is playing well with 10 points. Kolkata Knight Riders playing against, one the best batting team for this season Delhi Daredevils on 7th April. KKR has already lost the last match against the worst team for this season. It will be hard for KKR to play against DD after seeing their last performances.

KKR now needs to win all the matches to come back to the semi finals. Delhi daredevils are positioned second after the Mumbai Indians with 12 points and KKR are having 8 points currently. So it will be a tough match for KKR. Ganguly and Gayle are expected to perform well in this scenario. KKR have to bring their attacking performances in this match to counter DD.

Delhi on the other hand is confident with the current performance of the team. Sehwag and Warner have scored 260 and 240 this season. Other batsmen are on the average 140. Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings match starts at 8:00 pm on 6th April. Toppers Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are going to play this match at Chepauk. Mumbai Indians are already in the semi finals after their superb performances in IPL season 3. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is rocking in the team and Mumbai Indians won 7 out of 8 matches.


On the other hand Chennai super kings have won 4 out of 9 matches and looking forward to win this match to bring back the momentum. They have no choice except winning this match to get back into the winning track. If they win this match the road to the semi finals will become easy for them.

This match was held in the Firozshah Kotla grounds on 31st march, 2010.

Daredevil achieved the total of 188 runs for 6 in 20 over. The major role was the partnership between Gambhir and Kartik for 79 runs.
Karthik said “It was new track, so Gautam asked me to delay the shots. It helped me adjust to the slow nature of the track and score runs”. So this was the tip by daredevil captain which helped them to score runs.

As daredevil lost too many wickets in first few hours then Gambhir suggested hanging around and the runs will automatically flow in and that’s what happened.

Rajasthan Royals assistant coach said that Daredevil’s were intelligent enough and played the slow track match. Royals started well but Karthik took over the game from them.

Karthik gave daredevils their fifth win for IPL season 3.
